NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
| In addition to being a basic need for survival of living beings, water is key resource for development. There is a general acceptance of the relationships between water and poverty and the vital role of water resources in livelihoods of the poor. This study identified linkages between water and poverty for the improvement of water resources for the poor. The study also drew implications and developed guidelines for effective implementation of integrated water resource management for alleviation of water related poverty. |
