ADS orientation workshop 25-26 Nov, 2021

Two events of one day ADS orientation training workshop on ADS and periodic plan preparation was conducted to the palikas members from Temal, Namobuddha, Dhulikhel, Melamchi and Helmabu RM/ municipalities at Namobuddha Kavre and Melamchi Sindhupalchowk on 25 and 26 Nov, 2021 respectively. The major objective of the training was to sensitize the participants including comprehensive review of the current situation regarding agricultural development of respective Palikas/ Municipalities in Kavre and Sindhupalchowk districts, participatory analysis of the gathered information and facilitate the participants to formulate and design 5- years Agriculture Development Strategy (ADS) of respective palikas.

The training was facilitated by an external expert through analysis of gathered information, group work and presentations. A total of 48 participants ( Temal 28, Melamchi 20) participated in the training including cooperative members, farmers, senior administrative officer, head of agriculture and livestock unit and ward chair persons of respective palikas. During the event Mayor of Namobuddha Municipality, Kavre and Vice- Mayor of Melamchi municipality, Sindhupalchowk chaired the opening session and encouraged the participants for their active participation to formulate better ADS of their respective palikas on their speech.
