At present, nearly 200 full-time staff, excluding local-level support personnel, are engaged in various developmental activities of CEAPRED. Large majority (over 90%) of these staff are serving in the field. About 28 percent of the staff are female and 35 percent are from minority groups. Additionally, the Center maintains a roster of various professionals and experts in multiple areas and their services are utilized as and when necessary.

Mr. Keshab Datta Joshi is a farming systems specialist with demonstrated expertise in program development and management of operations. With more than 35 years of experience including 15 years with Nepal government, 3 years with Save the Children US, 7 years with GTZ, 10 years with SNV, Mr. Joshi has been providing his service at CEAPRED since 2013. His career includes work in the areas of project designing & management, farming systems research and development, networking and coordination, participatory PME, capacity development for improving service delivery, value chain development, mainstreaming GESI, and training and facilitation.

Mr. Bed Bhattarai has been affiliated with CEAPRED since September 2022. He is former secretary (2013-2021) of the National Human Rights Commission, a constitutional body of Nepal, where he worked for the promotion, protection and fulfillment of human rights. He served the commission for 16 years in different roles and responsibilities including Regional Director, Head of Departments, Acting Secretary, Spokesperson, as the Chairperson and Commission for 16 months with delegated authority, National Project Director of UNDP-NHRC and EC-NHRC Projects, Member Secretary of the Recruitment Committee etc. Mr. Bhattarai served as a lecturer in TU affiliated colleges for 7 years and in ‘A’ grade public corporations for more than 10 years. In October 2014, Mr. Bhattarai was acknowledged by UN OHCHR ICC-SCA Geneva for his strong leadership, in November 2014, by the Finnish High Level Decision Makers’ Mission and in July 2021, by the Resident Representative of UNDP Nepal for his strong and able leadership. He won a cash prize in 2014 and received appreciation letters from the Government of Nepal for his excellent financial regularities among all federal ministries, constitutional bodies and authorities in 2014, 2018 and 2019. He is an advocate and member of Nepal Bar Association as well.
