A Heart that Enjoys Farming!

Mr. Chandra Bahadur G.C. lives in Bherirang municipality 11, with his wife and two sons. A 45 year old farmer has been meeting his needs through this farm. Chandra can always be found strolling happily in his vegetable farm.
Although, Chandra has been involved in agriculture production for 10 years, he was unaware about IPM technologies and been using pesticides for pest management. Since the IPM training program in his area, Chandra realized about the harmful effects of pesticides and has been applying various IPM tools and IPM methods to control pest and insects.
Further, using of IPM technologies helped him increase his vegetable productions, for which, he bought his own vehicle for produce transportation and also involved his young son in this agro-business. Chandra, mostly grows tomatoes, cucumber, bitter gourd, yard beans, cabbage and cauliflower in his farm.
