NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

  • IPM –IL is initiated with the aim to develop/revalidate IPM technology package using non-chemical approach considering health, environment and bio-diversity of beneficiaries for recommendation and dissemination in Terai and Hill District of western and far western development region in Nepal through Knowledge Integrated Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition (KISAN) project funded by USAID; to focus on pest problems of high value crops(Cucurbits,Tomato,Cole crops, and Eggplant);supply chain development of IPM technology and capacity development on IPM technology package.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES PROVIDED

  • Development of IPM package for tomato, cauliflower, and cucumber for hills and cauliflower and bitter gourd for terai district.
  • Development of IPM technology package
