NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

The Food Security, Nutrition and Health (FSNH)   project aims to address critical issues related to livelihood improvements through food security, reducing malnutrition, and improving healthcare access among vulnerable households. The project focuses on children, adolescents, and reproductive-age women. Specifically, the project aims to implement a comprehensive approach that improves the overall well-being and resilience of these communities.
Buddhabhumi Municipality of Kapilbastu district in Lumbini Province has been identified as the primary areas of focus during the initial phase of the project. The project will be piloted in 15 settlements of the Municipality. The project interventions will directly benefit 1500 individuals from 300 households, with an additional 1500 households benefiting indirectly from the project's activities.
The duration of the current phase of project is for 18 months starting on 2nd May 2024 and  ending on 31st Oct 2025.
The project aims to achieve following two outcomes:
•    Improvement in livelihoods of targeted beneficiaries through food security and nutrition promotion.
