NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
| A survey of 215 shallow tubewell (STW) farmers was carried out in the two districts of the central tarai and the eastern tarai. The purpose of the study was to assess the performance of existing shallow tubewells in order to provide background information necessary for the future Community Groundwater Irrigation Sector Project to be financed by the Asian Development Bank. |
