NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
BRACE implementation will focus on strengthening capacity of municipal governments while linking to the provincial and central government for up-and-out scaling/policy uptake and leveraging funds. BRACE initiative intends to provide technical and knowledge support to the government’s programme on Climate Smart Village and Climate Change model programme through RMS resilience framework. This initiative will work jointly with the implementing partners and municipalities to support the process and develop regional learning hubs for other municipalities to visit and learn. The initiative will leverage its networks while maintaining a multistakeholder partnership with GIZ, EU and other development partners implementing activities in the project areas along with central and provincial government authorities and line agencies.
