Mr. Madhav Lal Shrestha, Project Coordinator was responsible for the implementation, supervision and monitoring of the project activities.

NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

The main objectives of the program was to improve and empower the livelihoods of the marginal and disadvantaged women's groups (Dalit, Non-Dalit and Mixed including widows) by increasing their income through mobilization of group savings in kitchen gardening and semi-commercial vegetable production and small livestock rearing. Under the partnership, CEAPRED provided technical backstopping to 475 members spread over six VDCs.
